Here's how to get a badge:
- Download the new Windows Live Messenger Beta
- Click on your name in the upper right hand corner
- Select “Personalize” and then “Change your badge”
- Add the badge or badges of your choice
- If you select “Share my support with friends,” you can add your own message in the box to share a personal message about the badge with your friends
